Well, it's been over a week since I last posted & I have lots to talk about! :) Some stuff may be boring, & I'm probably leaving some stuff out too, but I'm gonna post about as much as I can remember.
MONDAY 12.6: I have no idea what we did that day! haha.
TUESDAY 12.7: Adrean & I did a little running around. I asked him what he wanted to eat for dinner & he requested Buffalo Wild Wings, so I promised to get him some on the way home. We went by target for a bit, & I placed our BWW order for pick up while we were there so we could pick it up afterwards. Well, after we picked up our food, I decided to stop by Smith's to get a few things that were on sale, & what do you know! I ended up being in there for quite a while & filled a shopping cart up! Then, we got to the car & I honestly, TOTALLY forgot about our food! So, I ended up having to warm it all up once we got home. I felt really bad, I didn't intend to take so long at Smith's. "/ Oh! & another tidbit from this evening, well as some of you know, the parking situation in our apartments isn't the greatest, unfortunately. :( Well, we have a little thing we hang up in our car to show that we can park in covered parking, but even with that, there is just not enough parking in our complex! So, there are a lot of times where we, along with some of our neighbors have to park kinda far. On this night, I some how carried in ALLLL my stuff inside in like 3 trips, I was amazed at myself, but I guess something comes over you when you have no choice but to do what you gotta do. Wow, little things like that just make me appreciate my husband sooo much more! Awww, & my sweet little Adrean <3, I told him I was going to pull the car up by the door so I could take him in & drop him off & he said, "What about you, mommy?" & I explained to him that I was going to have to park far & I didn't want him in the cold & he felt bad & basically didn't mind staying & walking with me, but obviously, I didn't let him do that.
WEDNESDAY 12.8: WOW! On this day, my little brother Mikey turned 15!! I can hardly believe it!! He is growing into a handsome young man & is no longer a cute little boy. Adrean & I had a busy day that day! First we went to Hamburger Hut & picked up lunch for us & Isabelle. We went & met up with her & then left to do some errands. We went to UNLV & finished some things I am doing for a project Adrean & I are doing once Richy leaves for deployment. I can't wait to start putting it together. I hope it turns out to be a success! After we got through doing that, Isabelle & I went by Target with Adrean & Meleah for a bit & got some Starbucks on our way out. Then, Adrean & I took Isabelle & Meleah home. After this, we went & picked up Tee & did some shopping for Adrean at Old Navy. We got him lots of stuff with all the good deals they were having! It was fun shopping with him! It's so weird how he's changing as he's getting older. He was helping pick out all of his stuff, it was so cute! :) After Old Navy, we stopped by Kmart. When we had went to Target the day before, I bought a cookie cooling rack for $8 but took it back when we were with Isabelle & Meleah because I saw in the Kmart ad that they had some made by Wilton which were like 2 for $9! Way better! :)
THURSDAY 12.9: Ahhh, another significant day in the month of December! My daddy would've turned 50 years old on this day! I remember the last birthday we spent with him as if it weren't that long ago. My sister & I try to imagine how he would look if he were still alive, lol. Bet he'd probably have a few gray hairs! ;) This day ended up being another FULL, busy day for Adrean & I. First, we had his dentist appt. They put his spacer things in for him to keep his teeth from shifting or anything before those back molars come through when he gets older. It was not fun at first, but in the end everything was good & of course, Adrean was fine. Afterwards, we went to get some lunch & Adrean wanted McDonald's which I didn't care to have so I just got his food there. Then, I went by Schlotzky's, which happened to be my dad's favorite! How perfect for me to eat this on his birthday! :) Our next stop was Hobby Lobby! I loooove Hobby Lobby, who doesn't? They finally opened one here in Vegas just a couple of months ago! WoooHooo!! I had poor Adrean walking down every single aisle in there while I thought of ideas of things I wanted to do. The time slipped away so quick it seemed like & we had to go pick Tee up from work so we left & decided to go right back since her job is right down the street. I ended up buying some things to do some Christmas projects. After I was through in there, we went by Dollar Tree real quick for a couple things. I found some "Quick Erasers" which are just like "Mr. Clean Magic Erasers" & they were pretty good! I started to use them to clean the tile grout in my kitchen & they worked SO quick! The only thing is it goes pretty fast once you start scrubbing, but hey, I think it's still cheaper, so I will be going back & buy a few more packs so I can clean all the tile grout in my kitchen & bathrooms. :) Our last stop before we went home was Smiths. We went by there because after Adrean's dentist appointment, daddy talked to him over the phone & told him to ask mommy to get him some ice cream. He picked out strawberry & chocolate & we also got some sugar cones. On the way out of Smiths we rented Charlie St. Cloud from redbox. I've wanted to watch that since I first saw the previews for it!
FRIDAY 12.10: Yet another big day for us in the month of December! This day marked 12 years since my father passed away & I honestly can not even believe it has really been 12 years! TOO CRAZY! There are many times when I sit & wish he was still here with us. I know if my dad was here, he would just go NUTS over Adrean & I know they'd be best buddies & they'd absolutely adore each other. It breaks my heart to know that they will not know each other & be together here on earth but I have faith that they will meet one day when we are all in Heaven & I know it will be amazing. <3 Well, the agenda on Friday was to do a little shopping & then to go to Jr.'s birthday party. What ended up happening was I went to go pick up my sister in law Mailie & when we were getting ready to leave, Adrean refused & chose to stay with his aunts to play & Mailie was excited to have a day just for us girls! First we went to Raising Cane's to have lunch then we went to the mall. We both did some shopping at Sephora! I got some good stuff & I was happy. I felt good about what I bought, I got a few things & also saved money with a coupon & I am getting a free gift in the mail for my birthday! Yay! Gotta love free! :) We also got a few things for Adrean & I got a gift for Jr. Afterwards, we picked up a friend & had a quick little ice cream date. Then we went back to my in-laws so I could pick up Adrean & so Mailie could get ready for her date. Well, as Mailie was getting ready for her date, I sat there waiting & waiting for my mother in law to come back with the kids. Finally, Mailie was ready & her date came & picked her up & I was still waiting!!! Well, they didn't end up getting back from their errands until almost 10! So, we missed Jr.'s party. "/ I felt so terrible! When we left my in-laws, Adrean said, "Are we going to Jr.'s party now?!" & I replied, "Nope, sorry. It's over, it's really late already." & he told me that that was the worst day of his life. He was absolutely crushed. "/ But we decided that we would make it up to Jr., so that's what we are going to do this week! :)
SATURDAY 12.11: Hmmmm, nothing too exciting this day. Just a stay at home day for Adrean & I. I love those days with my baby. <3
SUNDAY 12.12: Another lazy day for us. ;) I spent most of the day watching LMN [Lifetime Movie Network] <- my fave!! & then I remembered we still hadn't watched Charlie St. Cloud! What was I thinking?! I've had this movie since Thursday!! So, we began to watch it but we ended up falling asleep half way through the movie.
MONDAY 12.13: Well, back to a busy, but FUN day! :) First, we met with one of our close friends Johnny aka Uncle LJ to have lunch at Applebee's. Then, I went to go take care of some thing after lunch. Next, we went to TJ Maxx & I was going bananas in there! I found a million things I wanted in there & I didn't even look at clothes!! This was just stuff like purses, wallets, home items. I tried to look for some cute winter stuff for Adrean but for some reason they didn't have much in his size. He is at the stage where he's transitioning from baby/toddler to boys & when you start to cross over, there is just not too much to choose from at stores like that I've noticed. "/ My sister & her boyfriend & his friends ended up meeting us there. Good thing, because Adrean was BORED & wanted to get outta there ASAP! He does not care to run around doing errands & shopping like he used to. I guess he's growing up. Lol. He kept telling me, "I just want to lay down & watch cartoons at home." Haha, he's so funny! So, the boys all went next door to Toys R Us so Adrean could look around & play while Kelly & I finished doing some shopping. I got some cute stuff today! :) So, I was happy! After that, Adrean & I stopped by AutoZone to change the battery in my key fob because Meleah slobbered all over it & it kinda messed up, so hopefully everything's good now that I changed the battery & I don't have to buy a new one. So, I talk to Richy on the phone at least once a day, [thank goodness!], & he had told me last night he thought he might've broke his toe during some training. He sent me a picture, & it looked gross! Well, today he called & told me that yes, it was broken & his whole foot was bruised now! :( Bummer. But some good news is that he found out that they get to come home a day earlier than they were supposed to! :) So, he will be home on Monday! Yayyy! <3 Oh & one last thing, Adrean & I finished watching Charlie St. Cloud & I loved it. It was really sad, but I liked it. We also baked brownies & made hot chocolate. :)
