Halfway Through January

We have kicked off 2016 being a busy family, like most, I'm sure!

It started with BACK TO SCHOOL after winter break & Adrean started to get sick from his asthma! :( He missed a couple days of school, so, that set him back a little bit with classwork. He hasn't wrestled the last 2 weeks, due to missing practice one week from being sick & then busy catching up with school work & working on a big project the next week caused him to miss another week of practice. Hoping to get him back into the swing of things this week.

As for my hubby, he has a month of training that started at the beginning of January to prepare him for his next deployment. The poor guy has been working 12+ hour days, 7 days a week. I know it has been exhausting and draining for him. We are missing him so much! Even though he is here at home, we only see him when he gets here for just a bit. The boys and I are always excited to see him! Obviously, they want to wrestle and play with their dad & they have so much to talk about and share with him, just like I do. But it is a little hard because he is just so worn out by the time he makes it home at night. I always want to sit down and have a few minutes of grown up conversation with him, but its just nearly impossible. I am trying to do my part and be an understanding wife. He knows that and I appreciate the fact that he realizes it. We make an incredible team, and I am so blessed.

Some fun things to share:

• The other day, the boys and I were able to see Disney On Ice Frozen! Richy's job provided us with tickets and a suite to sit and watch & eat all kinds of yummy food! We really enjoyed it and we were so thankful that Cox did that for us and the other employees and their families.

• We added a new member to our family over the weekend! My husband's cousin gave birth to her second child, a baby girl named Avery Hope! She is just a little doll... So precious and so perfect! Such a blessing... Now, we wait for my nephew, Jackson! Not too much longer to go.. He is due March 11, his big sister's birthday!

• And last but not least, Richy bought himself a truck! He's only been wanting a truck since FOREVER! When he started saving money up to buy his first car, he wanted to buy a truck. Plans changed because we found out I was pregnant with Adrean. Ever since, it's just never worked out for him to have a truck! Well, here we are like 10 years later and my husband has his truck! He couldn't be happier... It was all worth the wait because he ended up with something he loves, something that is really nice, and more than what he expected he would be able to get! Seeing him so happy, makes me happy! The boys loved daddy's new truck and always want to ride in it whenever they have the chance.... No pics on my laptop but when I transfer it from my phone, I will be sure to post. 

Well, it is getting pretty late here in Vegas, so I suppose I should call it a night! I look forward to posting and updating more and more. I am ready to share more on here besides family updates.

It's TIME

Well, here we are! It's the last day of 2015...

It has been quite some time since I last posted here. Coming up on 2 years to be exact! Wow... There have been lots and lots of changes and updates since then! We had our second child in April of 2013, another little boy, named JEYDAN aka Jeybug. We also became HOMEOWNERS!! Yayyy!! We had our house built and it has been just over a year since we got our keys! Our oldest, Adrean, is a 4th grader this year & he is in his second year of wrestling! Yep, we are officially a wrestling family. He is following in his daddy's footsteps. He is loving it & so are we! It's been a journey these last couple years. Our family has been blessed in so many ways.

It has been so long since I have blogged and this time, I am serious about keeping it updated! I am constantly posting on Facebook and Instagram, not only for family and friends but for Richy and myself to have to look back on memories of our family. I'm sure blogging will also be a bit therapeutic for me, as well. An outlet for me to express myself. I love posting about my kids and husband, so why not blog about them?! It will be fun for me to post other things too, like when I cook and do crafts and host parties.. 

That will be one of my big goals for 2016, BLOG consistently! Another big reason for me to start is because my husband will once again be deploying overseas soon & this is an awesome way for him to stay up to date on pictures and stories of our boys. So, it's time to get to blogging!

Fun Things To Share

WOW! So, today I hit the 3rd trimester mark! I am 7 months preggy... Can't believe in just 3 short months, I get to meet this little guy growing inside me. SO EXCITING!

Today, as I was sitting in the car waiting to pick up Adrean, I was watching the kids go outside & get their backpacks off their hooks by their classrooms & I thought to myself, HOLY MOLY! Where in the world do they get all this energy from?! They're in school all day & by the time their day is over, they're still full of lots of energy.. Pass some of that on to me, please. :) I love picking up Adrean from school. I feel fortunate to be able to be there for him in the mornings to help him get ready & send him off to start his day & to be there waiting for him when he gets out at the end of the day. Seeing all those little kids being little fireballs of energy & being excited to see whoever it is picking them up & anxious to share their day with them, (my child included) really brings a smile to my face. I know it won't be like this forever so I treasure these moments while I can. :) Especially having him yell across the playground as his class is walking out, "HI MOMMY!!" waving & all happy to see me! Makes me feel so good.

After I picked Adrean up, I decided to pick something up for dinner. He has been wanting pizza & wings, so, we went with Pizza Hut. I placed the order on my phone so that way by the time we got there, we wouldn't have to wait so long & he thought that was amazing! LOL! The little things kiddos appreciate. ;) We got home, washed our hands & started eating & we had a pretty interesting, funny & sweet conversation. Adrean randomly told me, (which he has been doing this a lot) that he was so happy to have me as a mommy & that I am the best mommy. Then, he proceeds to tell me how thankful he is for everything he has. He told me he's thankful for having the best mommy & daddy, thankful for the clothes we buy him, for having a house, for having 2 cars, for having clean drinking water. I was like, WOW! He told me, "Mommy, can you believe some places have to drink dirty water? We are so lucky we have good water." Then, he says, "I wonder what they are doing in India?" [sooo random, I know.] Next he tells me, "Ewww. I wonder how Santa does it, how does he drink the different kinds of milk from all over the world? It must be really gross." Haha. I have no idea where my child comes up with all these things. I finally ask him, "What makes me the best mommy?" He says. "You put me in a good school, you bought me pizza, you buy me clothes, you're just the greatest! You do everything for me... How can I ever thank you?" Ahhhh, melted my heart hearing those sweet words from him? I hope that our relationship can always be this way & that he never grows distant from me. I love being his mommy so much & can't even begin to imagine what it is going to be like being the mother of 2 precious little boys! I feel so blessed..

Part 1

One of the biggest & most exciting thing being, Richy & I celebrated our 9 year anniversary of being together! WOW!! That is pretty hard to believe sometimes then again, it doesn't because we have been through so much together & have grown up & come a long way from where we started back when we were only 15 years old. I will share the post I posted on Facebook.

2.5.04-until the end of time....

Prepare yourselves for a pic overload! Today is a special day for Richy & me. 9 years ago, he asked me to be his girlfriend & here we are in 2013, still going stronger than ever. We've been married over 5 years, we have a 6 yr old prince & ...another one on the way & we have gone through pretty much everything together. He & I grew up together, we struggled together, we made accomplishments together, we've been successful together, we raise our family together, we do everything together. He is my best friend, my soul mate, my better half, my lover, my husband, my everything. ♥ he has had my heart for all these years & my heart belongs to him until the end of time. He has helped me become who I am today & has always stood beside me & taken care of me since we were just teenagers. I am forever thankful for all he has done for me & for our family. God truly blessed me with the most amazing man to have as my husband & father of my children. I can never truly express how grateful I am & how much love I have for Richy.

Summer of 2006, I had to be at least 8 months pregnant, maybe more... Ready to pop with Adrean. & now January 2013, 6 months preggy with baby J. Lol, just looking at these pics side to side reminds me of how difference the experiences have been between these 2 pregnancies & makes me think of how far we have come in the last 6 years... Definitely different this time around not being young clueless teens & having grown up so much. So thankful!

 

August 2008 after Richy got home from Basic & AIT. Richy just turned 20 & Adrean just turned 2. My little baby is all grown up now! & look at Richy's expression. Haha. So serious... I think the military got to him. Lol.

Part 2

This past Saturday, we had a SUPER busy day! It felt like we were on the go from early morning to late that night, well I guess we literally were. We had a bunch of errands to do before Richy left for a month long training he is doing for the Army. We got tons done though! One big thing was that we did our baby registry at Babies R Us! That was pretty fun. We did it together as a family.

 

 

Haha. I have a pretty wild child as you can tell from these pics! He's not dramatic at all, is he? He was very excited to help us pick out things for his baby brother & to be able to use the cool little scanner gun thingy. I actually think he scanned a few little random things that we didn't notice until I looked over my registry online & saw things that I know for sure, mommy & daddy didn't scan. LOL! He was pooped by the end of the trip through every baby aisle, but he did good! I was proud. We are trying our best to help him adjust with the new baby & not let him feel left out in any way so we always try to find ways to include him in things & encourage him about becoming a big brother. So far, things are good. We'll see once the little one makes his arrival.

 

 

The next big thing, which is VERY EXCITING for us is that we purchased a NEW CAR!!! WOOHOO!! We went to the dealership kinda late Saturday night with the intention of looking at a car we saw online. The next thing we know, they're appraising our Jeep & we were driving home in a new car!!!

We are all very happy & excited about our new car! We love it!! :) Adrean was a little sad at first when we were cleaning the Jeep out because he said that he had so many memories with the Jeep & that he loved it but once the guy pulled the Camry up next to the Jeep for us to switch our stuff over, Adrean jumped into the backseat & his attitude immediately changed from being sad to being super excited & he said, "Man!! BUT I DO LOOOVE MY NEW CAR!!!!" hahaha. He is hilarious! That child is something else...

 

 

So, that is a little tidbit of what our Saturday consisted of, but it was a very busy & exciting day! I was soooo tired by the time we made it home!

Adrean's First Day Taking The School Bus Home!

So, how do I start this?! Well, Adrean goes to a Magnet School, so no matter where we live, transportation is provided. Adrean has wanted to take the school bus since he started Kindergarten but I refused! I took full advantage of being able to take him to school & pick him up... This year, I finally gave in to the school bus thing because hubby thought it would be a good experience for him. I just feel like, if I am home all day, I should be able to just drop him off in the mornings & pick him up in the afternoons. I enjoy doing it & I feel very grateful to be able to.

We were told that bus routes would be sent out during the summer before school started.. That didn't happen.. Instead, I was stuck calling a busy line the last 2 weeks before school started. Since I was one of the fortunate ones who wasn't completely relying on school district transportation for my child, I didn't dwell so much on it. In fact, I told Adrean, "Looks like Mommy will be taking you to school & picking you up!" :)
His response was not as exciting, "What?! Are you serious?!" He was so disappointed..

The night before school started, I received a voicemail on my phone from the school district, only stating pick up & drop off time & the bus number but not the location. So, I was lost. The first day of school, Ms. King called me before school was over to ask if Adrean would be riding the bus & I told her that I would be picking him up all week. I ended up seeing on the news that there was a lot of trouble with bus route information & they said to go to the website & type in the student id # & it would give all of the info, so I did. We decided that I would continue to pick him up the first week & that the second week, I would take him to school & let him ride the bus home. I enjoy taking him to school because he doesn't have to rush in the mornings & I get to spend a little extra time with him. I take him to school a little early before the bell rings so he can play & he likes having me there to watch him & to talk to. :) It's those moments that I will cherish because one day, he will be all grown up & not always want me right there with him.

SO! LABOR DAY-NO SCHOOL..

TUESDAY-FIRST DAY TAKING THE BUS HOME!
Well, I get to the location of his bus stop about 15 minutes early, & I end up waiting 20 minutes after the bus was supposed to be arriving. Before all this, I had been nervous all day thinking about the what ifs of Adrean taking the bus home. I started crying once I realized the bus was late & I started to panic thinking what if the bus doesn't come, what if he's on the wrong one, how am I going to find him, I don't even know who to call or what to do! So I end up calling transportation & what do you know? BUSY SIGNAL!

Finally the bus gets there & I see a little girl about Adrean's age get off so I ask the bus driver what school is she coming from, & she tells me Adrean's school along with another Elementary Magnet School. WHAT A RELIEF! I tell her that my son was supposed to be on the bus for the first time today coming home so she asks his name & starts going down the aisles calling for Adrean. She finally wakes a little boy up & tells him his mommy is here & to wake up. She comes back to the front & tells me, "Oh, he just fell asleep, would you like to step on the bus, maybe it'll help to see your face." I get up there looking around puzzled & she tells me, "Isn't that your son standing up?" I'm like, "NO! That's not MY Adrean!" The little boy was confused too.. She was telling me that he had said his name was Adrean but I told her, that's not him... So, she asks the other students to see if there's anyone else asleep & to call Adrean's name.. At this point, I AM FRANTIC! I start going up & down the aisles right behind the driver & there my baby was, in the very back of the bus snoozing, not even knowing what was going on. I wake him up & he was so confused & disoriented. I was like, "LETS GO BABY!" His bus driver asked how old he was & I told her that he was only in first grade so she told me that she likes for the younger ones to sit in the front up close to her so they're not so lost. So we told him that he needs to sit in the front from now on. Poor thing didn't know any better. He said that there were no seats in the front so he just kept walking. But he knows now that he can just tell the driver & she'll find him a seat. So, after all this, we get to the car & I just broke down. I started crying because it had all just gotten to me.. I was so upset & had gotten so scared! The best part out of the whole situation is that once Adrean saw me upset, he told me, "I am so sorry mommy! Let me give you a hug & a kiss. I am just so tired now from being in school all day that I can't stay awake & I thought she was taking me home, not to another school." (the bus stop is at a school by us) That made everything all better for me.

Thank goodness today went very smoothly... He came off without a problem & the bus driver is so sweet! I realized why the bus runs a little behind schedule, the driver waits with the students if there is no one there yet to pick them up, which I can't complain, because these kids are so young & it'd be hard to chase them down if the driver just went ahead with her route.

A Little Summary Of Adrean's First Week Of First Grade

Overall, Adrean had a fantastic week! He absolutely loves school! I'll just break down how his week went. Each day, they have a special.

• Monday-Art
• Tuesday-Music
• Wednesday-Library
• Thursday & Friday- PE

He said he likes all of his teachers & the librarian. I think he told me colored Spongebob in Art, not to sure about Music class. During his library visit, he got to check out his very first book in school. I'll have to get a picture of him with it before he turns it in tomorrow. He was very excited on Friday because they were able to use their iPads in class! Very cool! :)

Some funny stories to share. I believe it was Tuesday, they had fire drills & Adrean came home that day explaining to me the story of the person who died at Walmart on black Friday a couple years back. He told me, "Mommy, do you know that story about Walmart having sales on their TVs & computers & everyone started running like crazy & they ran over someone & they died because everyone just stomped on him!" I replied, "WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT FROM?!" Adrean said, "Oh! They told us at school, so that way we won't run during fire drills & hurt each other.." I was like, OMG! That child doesn't miss a thing! He tells me EVERY single detail about his days.

On Wednesday night, Adrean asked me not to make his lunch because he wanted to eat at school. So, Thursday morning, I gave him $2 & told him to give that to the lunch ladies. Well, somehow he forgot & got to the cafeteria & didn't have his money because he left it in his backpack. He told me, "Mommy, I forgot to get my lunch money but they let me eat free today!!" He said it so cute like he was so surprised & grateful. Then, he gave me a little note with the balance he owed. I told him NOT TO FORGET! OMG! So, they had chicken teriyaki that day, & Adrean told me he was one of the last ones to get his food & they had ran out of forks before he could get his food, so he told me he had to eat with his hands!!! I couldn't believe it. I'm sure there had to be a way for him to get a utensil, but maybe he was just too shy to ask or something. So, when I picked him up that day, I could definitely tell that he had a mess during lunch. He had teriyaki sauce all over his yellow shirt & khaki shorts! He told me he was so sorry but they put sooo much sauce! LOL!

That pretty much sums up his first week. I'll be back later on today or tomorrow morning with an update. Today, Adrean will be riding the school bus home for the very first time! So, I'll let you know how that goes. I'll also have some pics to post. Hope you all had a great 3 day weekend & that you have a blessed week!

No Better Time To Start Back At Blogging Than The 1st Days Of School!

Adrean is now 6 years old & is an official FIRST grader! WOOHOO! He was so excited about his first day & couldn't wait to be back in school. This year Adrean has the privilege of attending an amazing Magnet school! He will be challenged & given so many different opportunities vs attending a regular school. They offer so many different things that regular schools are not able to do for the children. This makes me one happy mama! :) So far Adrean is loving it!

I am so proud of my big boy! When I picked him up after his first day, I asked him how did the day go & his words were, "I had an AWESOME day mommy!!" He also told me he made 2 new friends.  I asked him if he remembered what their names were & he told me, "No mommy, they're the kinda names you don't remember, like they're really random.." Lol, leave it to that kid. He cracks me up! One last thing, he said this in such a serious way, I guess he understood the seriousness of it- he told me, "Mommy I CANNOT bring a peanut butter sandwich again, I am only allowed meat sandwiches!" I asked him why & he told me that's what he was told during lunch, so he scarfed it down SUPER FAST bc he DID NOT want to get in trouble. haha.. He's so cute.

It's been a busy last few weeks...

Well, once again I took a looong break from blogging. I always have good intentions to post & update on EVERYTHING going on in our lives but I always end up saying "I'll get to it later." PLUS I was taking FULL advantage of having family here from out of town for the holidays & also making the best of the time Richy, Adrean, & I had left together before he left for deployment.

The holidays were amazing! I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful family & feel so blessed that they were able to come see us, especially Richy before he left.

After Christmas, we went to Disneyland & it was so awesome! My step dad has been wanting to take Adrean for quite some time now but we never took him up on his offer due to the fact Richy was never able to go because he would always be tied down with work or something. So, I never wanted to go without him obviously. We are really grateful my step dad did this for us because we were in need of a family vacay before Richy left! Adrean had the best time ever & can't wait to go back. Maybe sometime this year, I'll be able to take him again. 

I have a lot more to update about but I'm really disappointed because I can't find the thing to connect my camera to the computer so I can upload ALL MY NEW PICTURES! So, once I get my pics uploaded, I will get into full details on my posts about everything that's been going on lately, because its so much better to have a visual to go along with what you're reading.

ONE week in ONE post...

Well, it's been over a week since I last posted & I have lots to talk about! :) Some stuff may be boring, & I'm probably leaving some stuff out too, but I'm gonna post about as much as I can remember.


MONDAY 12.6: I have no idea what we did that day! haha.

TUESDAY 12.7: Adrean & I did a little running around. I asked him what he wanted to eat for dinner & he requested Buffalo Wild Wings, so I promised to get him some on the way home. We went by target for a bit, & I placed our BWW order for pick up while we were there so we could pick it up afterwards. Well, after we picked up our food, I decided to stop by Smith's to get a few things that were on sale, & what do you know! I ended up being in there for quite a while & filled a shopping cart up! Then, we got to the car & I honestly, TOTALLY forgot about our food! So, I ended up having to warm it all up once we got home. I felt really bad, I didn't intend to take so long at Smith's. "/ Oh! & another tidbit from this evening, well as some of you know, the parking situation in our apartments isn't the greatest, unfortunately. :( Well, we have a little thing we hang up in our car to show that we can park in covered parking, but even with that, there is just not enough parking in our complex! So, there are a lot of times where we, along with some of our neighbors have to park kinda far. On this night, I some how carried in ALLLL my stuff inside in like 3 trips, I was amazed at myself, but I guess something comes over you when you have no choice but to do what you gotta do. Wow, little things  like that just make me appreciate my husband sooo much more! Awww, & my sweet little Adrean <3, I told him I was going to pull the car up by the door so I could take him in & drop him off & he said, "What about you, mommy?" & I explained to him that I was going to have to park far & I didn't want him in the cold & he felt bad & basically didn't mind staying & walking with me, but obviously, I didn't let him do that.

WEDNESDAY 12.8: WOW! On this day, my little brother Mikey turned 15!! I can hardly believe it!! He is growing into a handsome young man & is no longer a cute little boy. Adrean & I had a busy day that day! First we went to Hamburger Hut & picked up lunch for us & Isabelle. We went & met up with her & then left to do some errands. We went to UNLV & finished some things I am doing for a project Adrean & I are doing once Richy leaves for deployment. I can't wait to start putting it together. I hope it turns out to be a success! After we got through doing that, Isabelle & I went by Target with Adrean & Meleah for a bit & got some Starbucks on our way out. Then, Adrean & I took Isabelle & Meleah home. After this, we went & picked up Tee & did some shopping for Adrean at Old Navy. We got him lots of stuff with all the good deals they were having! It was fun shopping with him! It's so weird how he's changing as  he's getting older. He was helping pick out all of his stuff, it was so cute! :) After Old Navy, we stopped by Kmart. When we had went to Target the day before, I bought a cookie cooling rack for $8 but took it back when we were with Isabelle & Meleah because I saw in the Kmart ad that they had some made by Wilton which were like 2 for $9! Way better! :)

THURSDAY 12.9: Ahhh, another significant day in the month of December! My daddy would've turned 50 years old on this day! I remember the last birthday we spent with him as if it weren't that long ago. My sister & I try to imagine how he would look if he were still alive, lol. Bet he'd probably have a few gray hairs! ;) This day ended up being another FULL, busy day for Adrean & I. First, we had his dentist appt. They put his spacer things in for him to keep his teeth from shifting or anything before those back molars come through when he gets older. It was not fun at first, but in the end everything was good & of course, Adrean was fine. Afterwards, we went to get some lunch & Adrean wanted McDonald's which I didn't care to have so I just got his food there. Then, I went by Schlotzky's, which happened to be my dad's favorite! How perfect for me to eat this on his birthday! :) Our next stop was Hobby Lobby! I loooove Hobby Lobby, who doesn't? They finally opened one here in Vegas just a couple of months ago! WoooHooo!! I had poor Adrean walking down every single aisle in there while I thought of ideas of things I wanted to do. The time slipped away so quick it seemed like & we had to go pick Tee up from work so we left & decided to go right back since her job is right down the street. I ended up buying some things to do some Christmas projects. After I was through in there, we went by Dollar Tree real quick for a couple things. I found some "Quick Erasers" which are just like "Mr. Clean Magic Erasers" & they were pretty good! I started to use them to clean the tile grout in my kitchen & they worked SO quick! The only thing is it goes pretty fast once you start scrubbing, but hey, I think it's still cheaper, so I will be going back & buy a few more packs so I can clean all the tile grout in my kitchen & bathrooms. :) Our last stop before we went home was Smiths. We went by there because after Adrean's dentist appointment, daddy talked to him over the phone & told him to ask mommy to get him some ice cream. He picked out strawberry & chocolate & we also got some sugar cones. On the way out of Smiths we rented Charlie St. Cloud from redbox. I've wanted to watch that since I first saw the previews for it!

FRIDAY 12.10: Yet another big day for us in the month of December! This day marked 12 years since my father passed away & I honestly can not even believe it has really been 12 years! TOO CRAZY! There are many times when I sit & wish he was still here with us. I know if my dad was here, he would just go NUTS over Adrean & I know they'd be best buddies & they'd absolutely adore each other. It breaks my heart to know that they will not know each other & be together here on earth but I have faith that they will meet one day when we are all in Heaven & I know it will be amazing. <3 Well, the agenda on Friday was to do a little shopping & then to go to Jr.'s birthday party. What ended up happening was I went to go pick up my sister in law Mailie & when we were getting ready to leave, Adrean refused & chose to stay with his aunts to play & Mailie was excited to have a day just for us girls! First we went to Raising Cane's to have lunch then we went to the mall. We both did some shopping at Sephora! I got some good stuff & I was happy. I felt good about what I bought, I got a few things & also saved money with a coupon & I am getting a free gift in the mail for my birthday! Yay! Gotta love free! :) We also got a few things for Adrean & I got a gift for Jr. Afterwards, we picked up a friend & had a quick little ice cream date. Then we went back to my in-laws so I could pick up Adrean & so Mailie could get ready for her date. Well, as Mailie was getting ready for her date, I sat there waiting & waiting for my mother in law to come back with the kids. Finally, Mailie was ready & her date came & picked her up & I was still waiting!!! Well, they didn't end up getting back from their errands until almost 10! So, we missed Jr.'s party. "/ I felt so terrible! When we left my in-laws, Adrean said, "Are we going to Jr.'s party now?!" & I replied, "Nope, sorry. It's over, it's really late already." & he told me that that was the worst day of his life. He was absolutely crushed. "/ But we decided that we would make it up to Jr., so that's what we are going to do this week! :)

SATURDAY 12.11: Hmmmm, nothing too exciting this day. Just a stay at home day for Adrean & I. I love those days with my baby. <3

SUNDAY 12.12: Another lazy day for us. ;) I spent most of the day watching LMN [Lifetime Movie Network] <- my fave!! & then I remembered we still hadn't watched Charlie St. Cloud! What was I thinking?! I've had this movie since Thursday!! So, we began to watch it but we ended up falling asleep half way through the movie.

MONDAY 12.13: Well, back to a busy, but FUN day! :) First, we met with one of our close friends Johnny aka Uncle LJ to have lunch at Applebee's. Then, I went to go take care of some thing after lunch. Next, we went to TJ Maxx & I was going bananas in there! I found a million things I wanted in there & I didn't even look at clothes!! This was just stuff like purses, wallets, home items. I tried to look for some cute winter stuff for Adrean but for some reason they didn't have much in his size. He is at the stage where he's transitioning from baby/toddler to boys & when you start to cross over, there is just not too much to choose from at stores like that I've noticed. "/ My sister & her boyfriend & his friends ended up meeting us there. Good thing, because Adrean was BORED & wanted to get outta there ASAP! He does not care to run around doing errands & shopping like he used to. I guess he's growing up. Lol. He kept telling me, "I just want to lay down & watch cartoons at home." Haha, he's so funny! So, the boys all went next door to Toys R Us so Adrean could look around & play while Kelly & I finished doing some shopping. I got some cute stuff today! :) So, I was happy! After that, Adrean & I stopped by AutoZone to change the battery in my key fob because Meleah slobbered all over it & it kinda messed up, so hopefully everything's good now that I changed the battery & I don't have to buy a new one. So, I talk to Richy on the phone at least once a day, [thank goodness!], & he had told me last night he thought he might've broke his toe during some training. He sent me a picture, & it looked gross! Well, today he called & told me that yes, it was broken & his whole foot was bruised now! :( Bummer. But some good news is that he found out that they get to come home a day earlier than they were supposed to! :) So, he will be home on Monday! Yayyy! <3 Oh & one last thing, Adrean & I finished watching Charlie St. Cloud & I loved it. It was really sad, but I liked it. We also baked brownies & made hot chocolate. :)

Just Lately. [some things a/b Adrean]

*The other day, we were watching CNN & something came on showing some soldiers in Afghanistan. Then, Adrean looked to me & said, "Mommy, daddy gonna die, the bad guys gonna shoot him." My heart just dropped. I felt so bad! I could not believe he said that!! I was like, what makes you say that Adrean?? That's not true. Daddy will be fine when he goes. He's gonna be safe. Then, his face just turned red & his lips started like, shaking, & his eyes got soooo watery! & he told me, "Mommy, that makes me so sad." So, I tried my best to reassure him that daddy would be fine over there. I told him that we would pray for him every night when he said his bedtime prayers. Then, he said, "It makes me sad that daddy's leaving, he's gonna be gone for long time." So, I told him, "Yes, that was true but we would talk to him as much as we could on the computer & on the phone & that we would also look at daddy's pictures all the time." So, I kinda calmed him down, but he was really upset the rest of the night. It made me start to cry, because I felt so bad! I couldn't let him see me cry though. I told Richy about it the next morning, & he just felt soooo bad. He doesn't even really like to talk about it. I have been talking about Richy's deployment with Adrean because I want to prepare him. I don't want the time to come, & Richy leaves, then, Adrean will be confused, wondering why his dad isn't here, especially for a whole year!!! Adrean is so smart & advanced for his age. I mean, what child would come out & say something like that?! So, thats why I try to talk to him to help him understand because I know he does. Well, we got the BEST news a few days ago! Richy found out that instead of deploying in November, (which would mean he would miss THE HOLIDAYS!!) they will be deploying in January! We were so happy to hear that. :) He will miss the holidays for 2011, but I am hoping it will be easier because he will be gone for a whole year already, & by the time the holidays come, it will be almost time for them to get back home!

*So, I definitely need to get some videos of Adrean singing & dancing!! :) His favorite songs right now are "Meet Me Halfway" by the Blackeyed Peas, "Tik Tok" by Kesha, "Bad Romance" by Lady GaGa, "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift <- he says thats daddy's girlfriend since Richy likes her & that that's Tee's song [for those who don't know, Tee is Kelly], & some Michael Jackson songs. Its so cute, because he knows so many lyrics to so many songs now & he dances so darn cute!!! :)

*Awwww, the other day we were inside DSW looking at shoes, then we were looking at wallets & little clutches, & Adrean found this leopard wallet & asked me if Tee would like that, & I told him, I dunno.. Ask her. So, when Kelly got to the front, he asked her & she was like, awww this IS cute! & Adrean told her that it matches her, & we were like "What?!" Then, we noticed that Kelly was wearing a little leopard spaghetti top under her sweater. Isn't that cute?! Then, a few days later, we were in the store & Adrean showed something leopard to Richy & said, "Daddy, thats Tee's favorite color." :) hahaha.
